How are abstract concepts represented in the brain?
How can these representations support endlessly flexible behaviors?
How is abstraction affected in neurological/psychiatric disorders?

These are the questions that motivate us. 

We are part of the Department of Neuroscience at the University of Pittsburgh and our lab is at the Center for Neural Basis of Cognition.
